Our School

Lincoln Middle School (LMS) serves the families and community members of over 725 fifth through eighth grade students.  Students are offered a daily schedule of core and encore classes, which provide opportunities for pre-advanced placement classes, world language, fine arts, academic support programs, and extracurricular activities all in the interest of student learning.

Lincoln Middle School has high expectations for all members of its school community. We strive to develop lifelong learners dedicated to excellence and committed to success. Our students will be college and career ready.

School Mission Statement:

“We exist to Educate, Empower, and Encourage Each student Every day!”

The East St. Louis School District’s Learners Creed

I believe in myself and in my ability to do my best at all times. Today, I will listen, think before I speak, be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. I will do all of these things with one purpose in mind, to do my best, and not waste this day, for this day will come no more. I am a proud student at Lincoln Middle School.
